5:00-8:00 p.m. Welcome Reception. All are invited to register and get acquainted. Enjoy a variety of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments in the Grand Ballroom of the Doubletree Hotel.
MONDAY EVENING, August 2, 1999
6:00 p.m. Beach Party. Enjoy an outdoor barbecue and games, and watch the sunset on the beach. Advanced reservations required. $16 for spouse or each guest.
TUESDAY EVENING, August 3, 1999
6:30-8:30 p.m. Buffet-style dinner at the exotic Bali Hai restaurant on Shelter Island, in the South Pacific Room, with access to beautifully landscaped grounds on the waterfront. Advance reservations for dinner will be required. $30 for spouse or each guest.
8:30 p.m. Evening cruise. At 8:30 p.m. board the "Cabrillo" at the Bali Hai’s private dock and at 9:00 p.m. depart for a 2-hour cruise of the bay. Enjoy the balmy summer nights of San Diego, but bring a light jacket. No-host bar on board. Advance reservations required for the cruise. $14 for spouse or each guest.

No scheduled events. Explore the wide range of culinary cuisine in San Diego. Spend some time with new or old friends, or enjoy an evening with the family.
